Education Affordable
BEFORE FILLING OUT ANY FORMS: Hargrave is now reviewing Financial Aid and Scholarship requests for the 2010/2011 school year. Details listed below.
Applying for Financial Aid &
Scholarships at Hargrave just became easier! Hargrave is using the school and
student service for financial aid (SSS) through the National
Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). This process can easily be
started by going to:
SSS by NAIS
Due to system issues, do not apply on-line if using the Vista operating system.
The SSS by NAIS customer service phone is 800-344-8328; email sss@nais.org. If you desire to mail your application, please send to: SSS by NAIS, PO Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368.
Once at the website you will need to fill out the Personal Financial
Statement (PFS). Once you complete the PFS, fill-out the Aid
and Scholarship Application cover sheet, and
return via mail or fax (434-432-3129); ATTN: Financial Aid Committee
Chairman.
This will enable us at Hargrave to
process your request more efficiently. There is a cost for the 2010/11
school year application. Submitting the form online will also ensure your
information is accurate and it is delivered to us faster, thus enabling
us to process your request quicker. If you have any questions
concerning the PFS, call the SSS Helpline at 866-387-2601 (toll free).
If
you prefer completing the form offline, please contact the
Admissions Office at 800-432-2480 for the required forms. Both forms
are required for all students 7th to 12th grade and Post-Graduate in
order for the Financial Aid Committee to determine eligibility.
Financial aid and scholarship funding will be announced commencing
March 1st. An official letter will be mailed as well. Aid and
scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis, once a student has been accepted.
Please read further for specific details regarding available aid and
scholarships.
