Andrew Kratz

After graduating from Hargrave in 1989, Andrew entered the U.S. Marine Corp, serving for 10 years. Andrew’s service included Reconnaissance Team Leader as well as Infantry Squad Leader. After leaving the Marines, Andrew served as Dignitary protection for HRH Prince Moulay Hicham of Morocco. In 2004 Andrew returned to the Hargrave campus as the Student Activities Director, TAC Officer, and High Adventure Instructor. Andrew successfully proposed, raised funds, and served as project manager from inception to completion for the SSG Thomas E. Vitagliano Climbing Tower project on the Hargrave campus, an active memorial to an alumnus who died in combat while fighting in Iraq. Andrew is currently the President/Founding Partner of Triangle Rock Club in North Carolina, which was awarded the Small Business of the Year Award by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2015. Andrew was named the North Carolina Business Person of the Year by the NC Chamber of Commerce in 2014. Andrew is an active member of Southbridge Fellowship Church and trustee of the Kenneth Kratz Family Charitable Foundation.
