The Leadership School course of instruction is designed to train the Cadets to lead their peers to success at Hargrave. During the week-long Leadership School, the Cadets learned about leadership principles and traits, developing a training schedule, handling interpersonal issues, holding various leadership positions, conducting uniform and room inspections, leading physical fitness sessions, and how to develop and march a unit.
Each Cadet appeared in front of a selection panel consisting of the Commandant, the TACs, and the Battalion Commander. Based on their past performance and performance during leadership school, selections were made for the various leadership positions throughout the Corps of Cadets.
This year’s Cadet Leadership is better trained, more focused, and are extremely motivated to lead their peers to success. We are very encouraged by their maturity, esprit de corps, and willingness to lead. We know that a great group of young men will conquer this year’s challenges.
