Mrs. Angie Haskins, RN

Angie is a 2005 graduate of Danville Regional Medical Center School of Nursing. After receiving her diploma in nursing Angie went on to gain work experience at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital. For over 12 years, she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a charge nurse and preceptor to new nurses.

Before joining the Hargrave community, Angie had the pleasure to specialize in the care of Congenital Heart Defect patients pre and post-operatively, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation patients (ECMO), organ donation, and recipient patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit while at the University North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

As the wife of an alum (Jim Emerson, class of ‘86) I can attest first hand to the character that Hargrave instills in the cadets. I see this in Jim’s friends that are alumni as well. Starting my fifth year (in 2022) at Hargrave solidifies my belief in Hargraves mission. I have watched many cadets over the past five years develop emotionally, spiritually and academically into young men of exceptional character. I am proud to be part of the team that makes this happen.
