CPT Gloria Suarez P’23

In 1997, Gloria Suarez received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and later received her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Automotive from Oakland University. Upon graduation, Gloria worked for Delphi Automotive as a Suspension Engineer for 1 year and later worked for Daimler Chrysler as a Suspension and Fuels Engineer for 6 years. From 2015-2021, she was the Director of a Classical Education group and tutored Latin, Rhetoric, and Classical Literature. Within the 14 years of homeschooling her two children, Gloria became a proud business owner in 2010 before venturing into real estate in 2019.

As a parent myself of a new 2021 Cadet, we chose Hargrave as a bridge to help get my son into West Point Academy. We came to visit the school back in January of 2021 and were not only looking for a high academic standard school, but a well rounded military environment that could prepare our son for the rigorous standards West Point is known for. We were very impressed with what we saw and what we heard. My husband and I feel confident this is the right place and the right time to be part of this amazing school.
