The Hargrave JV Basketball team opened their season last week against county opponent Tunstall High School. Despite the 46-38 loss, Head Coach Luis Zerpa, had some positive takeaways described below!

On Saturday afternoon, the Hargrave Tigers opened their season with a matchup against the Gryphons on New Covenant. Hargrave earned a 65-25 victory and moved to 1-0 on the season.

The Hargrave Tigers earned their second straight win as they defeated North Cross 81-46 to improve their season record to 5-6 overall.

The Hargrave Tigers took to Walter Davis Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon to face off with Catholic High School. Despite an outstanding performance, the Tigers fell 59-56 in overtime, dropping their record to 3-5 on the year.

Sandwiched in the middle of a holiday hoops triple-header, the Hargrave Tigers defeated Westover Christian Academy 61-50 to earn their first victory of the season.

The Hargrave Military Academy JV Basketball team held on to secure a 67-61 home victory against North Cross School on Valentine's Day.

After falling at Bishop Sullivan on Friday night, the Hargrave Military Academy JV Basketball team bounced back with a great win on Saturday at Norfolk Collegiate.

From the start of the game, their swarming defense and high energy proved to be too much for North Cross to handle as the Tigers defeated them 66-36.

The Tigers were able to avenge an early January loss by defeating North Cross 66-46 to close out the regular season.

The JV Tigers extended their win streak to 7 games as they defeated Steward School 58-36

The JV Tigers have extended their winning streak to a season high of 6 games, with an impressive win over Roanoke Catholic 81-52. 

The Tigers finish their second game back-to-back strong beating Covenant 61-48.

The JV Hargrave Tigers add another victory to their resume with a dominating performance against Fishburne Military School 62-33. 

For his outstanding performance, Thomas Drakeford was presented with the player of the game award.

The JV basketball team jumped out to a quick lead on the Carlisle Chiefs and never looked back winning 61-37.

The Tigers win three out of four quarters.
