The Tigers of Hargrave scored an important home victory on Saturday afternoon, 71-65, over the Highland School. The victory improved the Tigers overall record to 11-8. 

After spending much of the first part of the season away from Walter Davis Gymnasium, the Tigers began their final stretch with five of their last six games at home by splitting a pair of games. Hargrave defeated Carlisle on Monday night before dropping a VIC Conference game against Blue Ridge on Wednesday.

In a matchup of two of VISAA Division 2's Top 12 teams, the #11 Hargrave Tigers took down #9 Norfolk Collegiate by a score of 62-59. Hargrave's record improved to 9-7 overall with the win.

The Hargrave Tigers traveled up to Lynchburg, Virginia to open up VIC Conference play on Tuesday night where they came away with a 53-52 victory over Virginia Episcopal School. The win was the Tigers first win at Virginia Episcopal School since 2009 and Hargrave now sits at 6-3 overall, 1-0 in VIC play this season.

The Tigers of Hargrave Military Academy took a midweek trip down to Lincolnton, North Carolina where they returned victorious with a 62-59 win over Combine Academy. Hargrave now stands at 4-2 overall this season.

The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers had a trio of games this past week, including their home opener. The Tigers went 2-1 on the week bringing their overall season record to 3-2.

In the VISAA Division 2 State Tournament Elite Eight, Hargrave suffered their first loss since January 20th at the hands of Virginia Episcopal School, 48-45. The Tigers finished the season 26-4.

Clutch shooting and strong rebounding down the stretch helped Hargrave advance to the VISAA Division 2 State Tournament Elite Eight for the third time in school history as they held on for the 67-52 victory.

Incredible defense, rebounding, and unselfish offense guided the Tigers to the 74-39 victory.
