Cindy Cline Reid

Cindy Cline Reid is a 1978 graduate of Hargrave. Cindy graduated with high honors from Queens University, where she served as the Student Body President. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University. She is from Chatham and the daughter of the beloved teacher and coach, Rick Cline. She is the sister of Anne Marie Cline Bergamini, class of 1980, and David Cline.


Cindy has practiced law in the Charlotte, NC, area for over 30 years. She worked with the City
of Charlotte as an assistant city attorney and later served as the town attorney for the Town of
Davidson. Four years ago, she joined the private law practice of Irvin Law Group in Cornelius,
NC. Cindy’s primary area of practice is land use law where she represents developers in large,
multi-use projects. She is on the Executive Board of the Charlotte Regional Habitat for Humanity and the Queens University Alumni Board.


Cindy and her husband, Richard, live in Davidson, NC with their two dogs. Their three grown
children live in Charlotte, Asheville and Chicago.
