Jim is an ’81 graduate of Hargrave. He attended Elon University where he worked his senior year as a student admissions counselor. Upon graduation, he returned to Hargrave as Assistant Director of Admissions and Director of Annual Giving from 1986 to 1988, then moved to Camden Military as Director of Admissions.
His corporate medical sales and senior management career spanned 25 years, culminating as Vice President Sales North America for CRITICARE. Jim has been active in supporting Hargrave and other Virginia private schools as former Vice President, Virginia Boarding School Association; member of NAIS and VAIS; and Vice President of the Hargrave Alumni Association. Jim now engages in property development in Pensacola and enjoys boating and travel with his wife Michelle.
