Mike Beck

Mike Beck is a 1979 graduate of Hargrave. Following college, he worked at Hargrave as an admissions counselor. A founding member of the Extended StayAmerica executive team, Mike directed the capital investment of more than $2 billion in the development of 475 hotel projects in nine years. As VP of Development at Blockbuster Entertainment, Mike led real estate, construction, research, store design, lease administration, real estate legal, and distribution. Mike has a BSc degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
