Jason Rader is a retired Marine Chief Warrant Officer with more than 22 years of military service and extensive leadership experience in education and federal service. A former Commandant at Hargrave Military Academy, he has continued to drive organizational growth and operational excellence in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, Jason served as Administrative Department Head for the Department of the Navy’s largest Region Legal Service Office in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was honored as the command’s 2025 Senior Civilian of the Year. He holds advanced degrees in educational and executive leadership and is currently completing his MBA at Liberty University. As both a former Hargrave leader and parent, Jason remains deeply committed to developing young men through leadership, discipline, and service.

Hargrave has always been a special place for my family and me. I am honored to return and continue serving an Academy that develops young men of character, leadership, and purpose.
