LTC Scott Roach

Social Studies Chair, Faculty

Major Scott Roach was born in Danville and raised locally in Gretna, Virginia. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in History with a Minor in Political Science from Appalachian State University.

He has taught and coached at Hargrave for nearly 20 years. Since being at Hargrave he is the two-time recipient of the HMA Alumni Active Educator of the Year, VIC Baseball Coach of the Year, O.B. Teague Award, and E.A. Floyd Award (Teacher of the Year). He has also been award the highly coveted Spirit of Hargrave Award.

I love Hargrave because I feel that this is where God has led me to. A place where I can be a positive influence on a young man life while doing what I love to do. What more could a person ask for!
