Wes is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a graduate of Moody Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.). Wes comes to Hargrave with an extensive background in boarding and military schools. He served as the Dean of Students at Sunshine Bible Academy for five years, and served as a coach, teacher, admissions counselor, and Dean of Students during his two years at Chamberlain-Hunt Academy. While at Chamberlain-Hunt Academy, Wes coached soccer and cross country, winning the state championship in cross country and advancing to the semi-finals of the MAIS state soccer tournament.

Wes has also served as an Ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church and Interim Pastor at Grace Bible Church in South Dakota.

Hargrave is a one of a kind institution that is sorely needed today. Hargrave’s holistic approach and attention to the faith development of its cadets is unique among military schools in the market today. Hargrave cadets leave the academy well equipped to succeed at whatever they lay their hand to, and to serve as leaders in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities. Having worked in boarding schools and military schools for the last decade, I have been a fan of Hargrave for many years before having the opportunity to work here. I’m proud to be a part of the Hargrave family and to have the privilege to serve our cadets and their families.
