For the third consecutive year, a Hargrave alum has played his way to the biggest and brightest stage that basketball has to offer: the NBA Finals. Marreese Speights (HMA Class of 2006) played in the 2015 and 2016 with the Golden State Warriors, earning an NBA Championship along the way. This year, David West (HMA Class of 1999) is playing for the Western Conference Champion Golden State Warriors as they take on the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hargrave has produced 23 NBA players since 1998 with many recent alums on the verge of breaking into the league. Over the past two seasons, the Hargrave Post-Graduate team achieved a record of 90-3 and had 24 players sign with D1 schools.
