Hargrave Military Academy kicked off the 2014 First Piedmont Corp Invitational on Friday, February 28, 2014. The Invitational brings top basketball talent and college recruiters from around the country to witness a great display of postgraduate basketball. All games are played in the Academy’s Walter Davis Gymnasium.
Friday’s games featured compeition between four of the top teams in the Country. For the 6:00 p.m. game, the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils were defeated by the Fishburne Military Academy Caissons. At 8:00 p.m., the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers defeated the Massanutten Military Academy Colonels, 113-91.
The final games are set for both the consulation and championship games scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
