Hargrave exploded out of the gates, putting up 21 points in the opening frame and setting the tone early with relentless ball pressure. The Tigers’ defense turned stops into fast-break points, holding East Charlotte to just 8 first-quarter points.

While scoring dipped in the second quarter, Hargrave’s defensive discipline never wavered. The Tigers forced double-digit turnovers and limited East Charlotte’s clean looks, going into halftime with full control of the tempo and scoreboard.
