Hargrave 0 – VES 9
The tigers suffered their first loss to a very strong VES. Our team started the game well planted in the field and gave few spaces to our opponent. Alex Moore and Gabe and Jesse Gandara did a great job at keeping VES at bay for most of the first half. Virginia Episcopal scored two goals close to the end of the first period.
In the second half, the tigers were not able to hold the line and a determined VES took advantage of every small opportunity we allowed to capitalize on them. Despite the result, the tigers deserve praise for their effort and display of sportsmanship.
