On September 9th your Hargrave Varsity Soccer team traveled up to face the Raiders of North Cross School, always a tough match. The Tigers showed up in their brand new white long sleeve jerseys . This exceptionally young Hargrave varsity team showed no fear as many of these players have never seen the likes of players like North Cross players .
With his third start in the net Cadet Gavin Outlaw managed nine saves for the match . He is doing great things for an 8th grader. On the back line Cadet David Mathurin had 1 tackle while Cadet Sm Meyers made 3 tackles and Cadet Charles Gaddy with 2 Tackles
Team Captain Cadet Patrick Fowlkes managed the entire field. Cadet Jack Alviani in his senior year is a dedicated warrior for his team . Cadet Garofolo stepped up with his non stop attempts to break free to the top third of the field.
The entire team played as one . There are things that were done right and things that need to be worked on in practice, the best thing we have done so far is work as a team . If we continue to do that, everything else will fall into place .
