While it was a long night your Tigers were reminiscent of Sherman marching through the south with a scorched earth policy. The Hargrave Tigers didn’t march all the way to the sea, but they did leave a path of destruction through the teams of the VIC.
The Tiger Wrestlers were undefeated as a team last night with a record of 4-0. On their way to become 5-1 in the conference, they crushed the Miller School of Albemarle 48-6, Blue Ridge 60-21, Montecillo 48-18, and Roanoke Catholic 60-24.
There were numerous wrestlers with multiple pins and all of the Tigers fought tough. Coach Ott relayed that the highlight of the night goes to Cameron Spangler as he successfully annihilated his opponent with a Simmon’s cradle straight to a pin – not only once, but twice.
Your Tiger Wrestlers will be back in February 1st as they head to Dan River for another VIC Super Quad.
