The Tigers had a successful start to their VIC campaign Thursday, dispatching the Gaels from Holy Cross Regional by a score of 72-26. Hargrave was able to utilize a stifling defense in the decisive victory, holding Holy Cross Regional in single digits each quarter and registering 22 team steals on the evening.
Leading the charge offensively was Jason Fields (15 points) with Tyler Chisholm (14) and Keon McIntosh (11) and reaching double figures. The interior trio of McIntosh (10 rebounds), Jaseem McLeod (9) and Ben Dorfman (7) proved too much to handle as the trio combined for 14 offensive rebounds and 26 total rebounds in the game.
The Tigers will hit the road tomorrow evening for another VIC tilt, taking on Roanoke Catholic School at 7:00PM.
