8th grader Tamino Brown was sensational in the opening frame, netting three goals for his first hat-trick of the season. Hargrave also received scoring efforts from Samuel Gnihi (2 goals), Tselmeg Ganbold, Chris Czarnecki, Kyle Wint and Raines Wall in the first half.
The second half showed a Tiger team that was eager to control the pace of the game and dominate posession of the ball. Both defenses settled in nicely as goals started to become harder to find. Hargrave Senior Henry Averett, a regular goalkeeper, was able to find the net for his first career goal, however, and Ammar Al-Aghbari showed off his powerful left foot to cap the scoring in the contest, with the scoreline 11-1 in favor of the Tigers.
With the win, Hargrave evens their season record at 1-1. Hargrave will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Lynchburg to take on Timberlake Christian. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30
