Hargrave was unable to breakthrough against a talented North Cross side, falling to the conference rival by a score of 6-0. Despite some solid build-up play, the Tigers were not able to find the back of the net in the contest against the #1 ranked team in the state of Virginia.
Defensively, Henry Averett was called into action frequently, and responded with a season-high 12 saves.
Hargrave will take the field this Friday in a ciritical VIC match-up with The Blue Ridge School, which has serious seeding implications as we approach the post-season.
