The Tigers were able to avenge an early January loss by defeating North Cross 66-46 to close out the regular season.
In a game that was closer than the final score indicated, the Tigers showed great focus to their defensive assignments and setting the tone for the game.
The Tigers were led in scoring by a sensational performance from Nathan Kania (23 points) connecting on 7 3pt field goals, Thomas Drakeford (6 points), and Connor Rogers (6 points).
In his first game back from injury, Matthew White exploded on the scene to make his presence felt offensively as well as defensively. He scored all 14 points in the second half (10 points in the fourth quarter) to push the game out of reach for North Cross.
The Tigers finished the regular season with a record of 14-4. They are currently second in the conference headed into the playoffs. Thursday the Tigers will host North Cross again for the first round of the conference Tournament.
