The JV Baseball team lost a tough game last night versus a very good Tunstall team by a score of 15-3. Our fighting Tigers had very good pitching, but we had a number of errors that led to unearned runs. Our pitching staff gave up only 1 earned run in 5 innings of play. Caleb Flores led our unit with 5 strikeouts in 2 innings, followed by Austin Samson and Parrish Mullen. The Tigers had a number of well hit balls that unfortunately found the gloves of Tunstall players. Samson, Josh Jarrell, and Gavin Minor all picked up hits for the Tigers, while Justin Yoon, Mullen, and Jarrell picked up RBI’s.
Overall, our Tigers fought hard through the end of the game. We will be hosting Chatham on Thursday for our next game.
