Hargrave Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 76-66 to the Huntington Expression Prep Kings. That’s two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten points.
Hargrave Military Academy’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of Isaac Smith, who went 9-for-13 en route to 18 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, and Khaden Clark, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. Clark has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least ten rebounds, but 3-5 otherwise. Nick Coleman was another key player, putting up seven points.
Hargrave Military Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Huntington Expression Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
