Senior Night is always a special evening and Friday night in Walter Davis Gymnasium was no different as Hargrave Military Academy defeated North Cross, 76-40, in their final regular season game. Hargrave wraps up the regular season on a 14 game winning streak, 23-3 overall record, and an unblemished 12-0 record in VIC Conference play.
The senior-led Tigers fed off of the great crowd and incredible atmosphere and jumped out to an early 12-9 lead. They continued to push their advantage to 28-17 after the first quarter and never looked back. Any time North Cross tried to make a run, a different wave of Hargrave players got the job done and didn’t let North Cross back into the game. It was a complete team effort and a great way to end the regular season.

The Tigers now head to postseason play where they have earned a first round bye in the VIC Conference Tournament. Hargrave will be back in action at Walter Davis Gymnasium for the VIC Conference Tournament Semifinals on Thursday, February 23rd, to face the winner of the #4/#5 match-up with a chance to move to the VIC Conference Tournament Championship. Tip-off is still to be announced.
