The Hargrave Varsity Soccer team took on the Liberty Christian Academy Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon. The first half saw lots of attack by the Bulldogs and the Tigers defending their possession of the ball. There were glimpses of shots on goal, but the attack of the Bulldogs was much too strong for an injured Tiger defense. The first half ended with a score of 0-3 in Liberty’s favor.
The second half brought about change in attitude of the players. They showed that they can possess the ball, play simply, and together. Hargrave finished the second half with a strong 0-0 tie.
The final score was 0-3 in Liberty’s favor.
