DECEMBER 6, 2025 — For the first time since December 2022, the Hargrave Tigers left Thomas Gymnasium at Fork Union victorious in the Fork Union Military Academy Christmas Tournament following a 98-80 win over fierce rival and host school, Fork Union! In a hostile environment, the Tigers bonded further together as brothers to overcome adversity, including a slow start, to defeat FUMA at FUMA for the first time in 3 seasons. It was a total team effort for Hargrave to come away with the win but there were a handful of strong individual performances including both Jhett Carter ’26 (Titusville, FL) and LJ Holman ’27 (Lexington, KY) earning All-Tournament recognition for the play throughout the weekend! Notable performances included:
JJ Sullivan ’26 (St. Paul, MN) — 19 points (7-10 FG, 3-6 3FG), 2 rebounds, 1 assist
LJ Holman ’27 (Lexington, KY) — 19 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3FG), 5 rebounds, 3 assists
Jhett Carter ’26 (Titusville, FL) — 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3FG), 5 rebounds, 4 assists
