The Varsity Baseball team earned a hard fought victory over the Mavericks of Miller School on Thursday by a score of 2-1. Great pitching was the key to the game for the Tigers, as senior Chris Campbell pitched seven complete innings, while striking out 15. At the plate the Tigers were led by Cory Wood, Markel Owens, and Shane Bousman. With the win Hargrave moves to 5-7 overall and 3-2 in the VIC.
Hargrave returns to action on Tuesday, April 17th, when the Tigers travel to Lynchburg to take on VES. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
