The Tigers defeated Carlisle, 79-60, for the chance to move on to the VIC championship game. Hargrave worked efficiently on the offensive end in the first quarter to take a 21-16 lead. The lead was pushed to 12 in the second quarter before the Chiefs made a small run to cut the halftime lead to 37-29 in favor of the Tigers. The pace of the game favored Hargrave, as the second half was owned by the Tigers. Defense led to several transition baskets and the lead ballooned to 22 during the fourth quarter.
Hargrave was led by Malachi Paige with 17 points and 6 assists. Tim Buchikos added 15 point and 10 rebounds. While Kyle Rhoades kicked in 14 points. The win puts the season record at 17-5. The Tigers will play North Cross in the VIC Championship game on 2/25.
