In a hard fought conference game, Hargrave Military Academy fell to Roanoke Catholic, 47-60. The Celtics jumped out to a big first quarter lead, 20-10. After falling behind early, as much as 17 points in the first half, the Tigers fought back to bring it with in 7 in the third quarter. The Celtics proved to be too much to overcome, as they played the Tigers even in the second half.
Hargrave was lead by Karson Mott with 15 points, Nick Barr with 10 points and 6 assists, and Zac Edmunds with 10 points and 8 rebounds. The Tigers return to action Feb. 12 at Carlisle. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30.
