The Tigers hosted a return match up against the Trojans of Tunstall High School to close out competition before Christmas Break. In a one-sided affair, the Tigers jumped out early and never looked back winning 55-37. Pressure defense was the key as Hargrave took a nine point first quarter lead, 13 point half time lead, and twenty point third quarter lead. All 11 players played for the Tigers.
Hargrave was led by Ben Amos with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Avery Johnson had a solid game with 15 points and 6 rebounds. While Danny Smith finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Hargrave closes out 2009 with a 6-1 record.
