Varsity Basketball vs. Westover Christian Academy

The Tigers picked up their sixth win of the year with a hard fought victory over Westover Christian Academy.

Leading the way for the Tigers was senior point guard Terry Teal (20 pts. 6 rebs., and 3 assist). Also having solid performances was guard Clarence Conrad (16 pts., 3 rebs., and 2 steals), guard Ryan King (12 pts., 8 rebs., and 5 steals), and forward James Eversley (12 pts., 7 rebs., 4 steals, and 2 blocks).

The most surprising performance of the night came from sophomore forward Jeff Oboite (4 pts., 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks). With the win the Tigers improve to 6-2 overall and 5-0 in the VIC.

Hargrave returns to the hardwoods on Monday, January 10th, when they will face the Bulldogs of Lynchburg Christian Academy. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
