Rachael Shelton graduated with a Bachelors in Communication with a focus in Public Relations, and Political Science with a focus in International Relations and Comparative Politics from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Upon graduation from Appalachian State University, Rachael gained teaching experience in Pittsylvania County Schools as a middle school English and teacher. She then later made the decision to join the Admissions team at Hargrave in 2026.
Rachael resides in Chatham with her husband and 2 dogs, Ollie and Barbie.
