You can build rapport with these young men by telling and especially showing them you’re fair, firm, and consistent. I’ve discovered they are better equipped to listen to what you have to say. Hargrave has an important mission and I believe in that mission. The ideals are easy to get behind. Being a part of a young man’s life is a huge responsibility. I feel the Cadets can and will learn from my life experience. These young men are the future leaders of not only Hargrave, but of the country. It is a privilege to be able to help shape them into young men of character.
