2nd Semester Matriculation

13 new cadets joined the Hargrave family as they matriculated into the Corps of Cadets. These cadets came to us from Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Maryland, New York, Florida, and Georgia. In addition, a new international student joined the Corps from China. To facilitate a smooth transition and to allow time for training and orientation ahead of starting classes on Monday, our new cadets arrived on Thursday. Upon arrival they were paired with older, experienced cadets who were assigned to mentor them and to facilitate their successful launch into life at Hargrave.

As part of their orientation, the new cadets were checked in through the various offices of the school and then taken to the Quartermaster where they were fitted for their uniforms and shown the proper way to wear them. The new students were then given a tour of campus and introduced to their assigned companies. Over the next several days, our new cadets will finish their orientation and training to become fully integrated into the Corps of Cadets.

There’s lots of excitement and energy as new cadets continue to join the Hargrave family. The next matriculation date for new students is February 2nd. The admissions office is excited to be working with so many families who are eager to have their sons join Hargrave so they can turn their potential into opportunity!
