Tuesday evening the Tigers took on Fishburne Military Academy Caissons in the opening game of the season. The first half battle was a power struggle between both schools as they went into the half deadlock at 0-0.
In the second half, the Caissons were able to break the deadlock in the 53rd minute to take the 1-0 lead. The Caissons were able to keep up the momentum, as they took a 5-0 lead scoring four more goals in the next 10 minutes. The Tigers were able to respond with Cadet William Conger (Raleigh, NC) scoring his first career goal for the Tigers to make it 1-1 in the 76th minute. The Tigers would eventually fall 6-1 in their season opener, and look to rebound against Westover Christian Academy Thursday in Danville.
