The Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) announced their All-State Football teams and the Hargrave Tiger fans saw a familiar name on the list.

CJ Farmer ’22 garned Second Team All-VISAA Division 2 honors for his play as an offensive lineman this season. This award is the latest in a string of awards for the sophomore, Farmer, as he earned All-VIC First Team honors as both an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman. Farmer remarked, “It’s definitely an honor to be recognized for my effort this season. My mindset is always to remain humble and hungry, so awards like this continue to motivate me to be the best player I can be to help our team be successful.”

Head Coach, Jeff Schaum, stated, “We are extremely proud of CJ! He’s got a blue-collar work ethic and he works his tail off on a daily basis. CJ has a bright future athletically as he continues to develop and grow both physically and mentally. We are looking for CJ to continue being a positive staple for Hargrave Football!”
