The Tigers got their first win on the season against Blue Ridge School, 6-1.
Jed Dunkum earned the win on the mound, going the distance and giving up only 4 hits on the day and striking out 4 batters. The Tigers played great defense on the day, helping their pitcher out. The highlight of the defense came late in the game when Cody Laviolette, Chandler Wilkie, and Donovan Creasy turned a 6-4-3 double play. Cody Laviolette, Adam Saliu, Josh Dolan, and Donovan Creasy led the team at the plate.
The Tigers take on VES on Saturday, May 5th to close out the regular season.
