The Hargrave Tigers took on Blue Ridge school and came out on the short end by losing 6-0. In the first half of action, Hargrave’s defense really limited Blue Ridge’s shooting ability but a couple miscommunications allowed them capitalize on a two shots giving them a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
Unfortunately Hargrave could not get the momentum to swing in our direction in the second half as Hargrave allowed 4 unanswered goals. Nii Akwetey and Bryan Glenn had opportunities on the opposite goal, but neither were able to finish their attempts. Once again, Francisco Velasco-Lang and Garrick Ellwood showed a lot of hustle and effort in the match. Mahmoud Gamil had six saves on the loss.
