The Hargrave Middle School Basketball Team showed improvement in their game Monday against Carlisle, but still came out on the short side of the 38-26 score. The Tigers played hard and never gave up.
Although they were cold in the first half, they found the range and scored 19 points in the second half, making a run at the Carlisle team. Zach Packer shot the ball well, scoring 17 of Hargrave’s points, including 4 3-point shots. Slater Barefoot added 5 points, and Zach Szostak had 4 points. Ryan Phillips and Zach Szostak were the Tigers leading rebounders.
The Tigers next game will be at 4:00 on Thursday, January 19th against North Cross at Hargrave’s Walter Davis Gymnasium.
