Tiger runners placed second behind North Cross and ahead of Carlisle in their first meet at North Cross. Sophomore Sean Witmer placed fourth overall and first for Hargrave. Other Tigers who placed were senior Trey Barnes (5th), sophomore Quinn Griffith (7th), junior Zhenyuan Li (13th), and senior Joseph Murray (14th). Nolan Tuner (Post-Grad) placed 10th overall but could not score. Sophomore Hunter Adkins (15th), junior Luis Vale (16th), and sophomore Anh Phan (18th) rounded out the field for Hargrave.
In order of finish: eighth grader Gabriel Medlin, freshman David Kiesnowski, and senior Nick Delario all represented Hargrave well in the developmental race.
Our coaching staff is pleased with the team’s progress after just one week of practice. Our Cadets represented Hargrave, our team, and themselves well. A quote from another coach summed it up, “I am so impressed by the heart and outstanding sportsmanship of your team.”
