Hargrave 47 – Cumberland 7
The Tigers went to Kentucky to play the University of the Cumberlands for another junior varsity contest. While the game only lasted one half, the Tigers blasted the colonels en route to a six to one touchdown advantage and a 42-7 final score. Alex Owah scored on the first play scrimmage, while Hakeem Haynie and Preston Cleckley each scored for the Tigers as well. Linebackers Jimmy O’Grady, Jimmie Lewis, and Jules Forney each took an interception back for a score. The Tigers line held their own, with standouts coming from offensive linemen Andy Bell and Robbie Fitzgerald, as well as defensive linemen Bryant Long, Cole Alexander and Justin Kee
