Hargrave 16 – FUMA 12
The Tigers PG football team took on Fork Union Military Academy Friday night, and for the second time this season, they come out with a win 16-12. Offensively the Tigers ground game was on with Running back Jamal Satchell rushing the ball for over 104 yards on the night. The offensive line provided great run and pass blocking led by Kevin Hart and Drew Wilkins. Patrick Gray Proved to be a sure handed receiver, as he had two catches, one the go ahead touchdown reception with 5:04 left in the forth quarter.
The defense gave great play all night long, giving hard hits and pressure to the quarterback through the whole game. Players that recorded sacks were: James Smith (2), Corey Crawford (2), and Keevon Newsome (1). Jimmy O’Grady had three tipped passes and the secondary made some nice pass breakups.
The Tigers finished the season undefeated and now gear up for its annual winter workout combine December 6, 2010.
