Hargrave 14 – Frostburg 0
The Hargrave Tigers PG football team took on the Frostburg St University’s JV team yesterday afternoon in Frostburg, Maryland as they blank the Bobcats 14-0. Offensively the charge was led by the passing, quarterback D.J. Williams and Marcus McDade threw for over 300 yards combined. Ricardo Collier (1), Michael Phillips (2), Holden Bass (2), Trevor Loveland (2), and Eddie Johnson (3 catches, 1 touchdown) recorded catches on the afternoon. Running Backs Matt Horne, Jamal Satchell, Jamaal Jackson and Torian Henderson ran the ball viciously through defenders as the ball matriculated down the field.
The Defense once again proving dominate against opposing offenses as they post their second shutout in 3 games. Jimmy O’Grady recovered a punt blocked by Terrell Hartsfield and ran it in for a 25 yard touchdown. Isaiah Moore recorded his third interception of the season while Kent Ingram (ss) and Jonathan Wimbush (cb) provided excellent run support from their defensive back positions.
The PG Tigers travel next to Newberry, South Carolina to take on Newberry College on October 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. hoping to improve their record to 4-0.
