Hargrave 57 – Southern Tech 0
The PG Tigers played Southern Tech Academy on Monday and gave another dominating performance winning 57-0 improving their record to 6-0. The one sided game Had many highlights on both sides of the ball. Offensively the Tigers had great success running the ball with runningbacks Derrick Milton, Jamal Satchell, Jamaal Jackson, Torian Henderson, and Shedrick Davis combining for close to 400 yards on the ground. In the air, DJ Williams and Marcus McDade provided their receivers with great passes all evening. Catching those passes were, Ricardo Collier, Michael Phillips(1 td), Eddie Johnson, and Trevor Loveland.
Defensively, the Tigers forced turnover after turnover as they only gave up 25 yards all game. Jimmy O’Grady made a spectacular one handed interception and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown. Justin Taylor picked up a fumble and returned it 53 yards for a touchdown, and Trey Seal caught an interception and returned it to the 1 yard line to set up a score.
Next week the Tigers look to stay undefeated as they travel to St. Francis University to take on the Red Flash.
