Hargrave 37 – St. Francis 0
The PG Tigers took on the Red Flash of St. Francis University yesterday afternoon and proved their dominance in a 37-0 rout. The Offense scored on its opening drive with a 25 yard pass to Martavis Bryant who was double covered. Other touchdowns came from Michael Phillips on a 5 yd reception, an 80 yard scramble by quarterback D.J. Williams, one rushing touchdown by Jamal Satchell, and a 60 yard reception by Daniel Lombardo.
The defense had another dominate performance pitching its fifth shutout of the season. The front seven made it almost impossible to do anything offensively for the Red Flash. Pressure was being provided by Jimmy O’Grady, James Smith, Corey Crawford, Keevon Newsome, and Forrest Mason. Josh Edet tallied an interception on the afternoon and the secondary was relentless all afternoon.
The Tigers host Fork Union Military in the season finally on November 5, 2010, as they wish to finish the season undefeated.
