Fall Sports Award Winners Recognized

Benjamin J Veshi

This past Friday, the Hargrave Military Academy Fall Sport student-athletes were recognized for their accomplishments this past fall in Cross Country, Football, and Soccer.

Despite all the abnormalities that describe the present situation of high school athletics in 2020, the Tigers still hit the trails, the field, and the pitch to grow and compete this fall. Cross Country earned a pair of victories and a second place finish in their races this fall, showing a great ability to improve both as individuals and as a team. Both Football and Soccer were able to create a safe environment that cultivate fundamental growth. As the fall wore on, both Football and Soccer were able to compete in intrasquad contests, including a “Champions League” style soccer tournament and a Friday Night Lights football finale.
