Forensics Competes at Cosby High School Invitational

Over the weekend, the Hargrave Forensics Team traveled to Cosby High School for their invitational tournament.  The boys faced some tough competition and saw what adjustments they need to make between now and the major tournaments to come in February and March.

Nevertheless, the team did have multiple students that earned eligibility to compete at the National Qualifiers tournament in two months!  Those cadets are Luis Vale, Adam Saliu, and Brian Williams. The Forensics team will next compete at Woodberry Forest this upcoming Saturday.

Additionally, Hargrave competed in the Virginia Regional Ethics Bowl at the Collegiate School in Richmond.  The team had three preliminary rounds to determine if they would advance to the semi-finals.  Unfortunately, they did not advance, but they learned a great deal from the experience and had fun!

The school was represented by Nolan Turner, Nicholas Duran, Richard Jiang, Kyle Pisciotta, Kevin White, Xiaotang Liang, and Anh Phan Tu.
