Members of the Hargrave Forensics Team traveled to Midlothian High School Saturday, November 5, to compete in their second tournament of the season. For many of the boys, this was their first chance to see what these tournaments are like.
In the Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate division, Seth Collins went 3-1 to secure 3rd place overall. This earned him enough points in the National Speech and Debate Association to qualify for competition at the National Qualifiers tournament in March! Petar Miladinovic and David Kiesnowski competed in Duo Interpretation and brought home 6th place medals.
A special thanks go out to Lesa Shelton who has been working hard with our interpretation students and helped judge at this tournament. She has been invaluable to the team and its development!
